The final lap tour from EMMY® and GRAMMY® award-winning multi hyphenate, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson arrived in Chula Vista’s North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre this past Thursday August 31st and embarked the crowd on a global tour in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of his game-changing debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
Produced by Live Nation and presented by Sire Spirits, The Final Lap Tour features the rap icon performing dozens of fan-favorite and chart-topping hits along with select tracks that have not been performed live in decades. Plus, the tour features support from special guest and longtime friend, Busta Rhymes, across all dates and Jeremiah supporting on all North American dates.
The night started with Jeremiah performing at around 7:00 pm, getting the crowd warmed up for its successor: the one and only Busta Rhymes.

Busta Rhymes show really hyped the crowd to the maximum level with his top chart songs and hits, but the best moment in my opinion, and one for the books, was when he brought out to the stage the myth and the legend: Xzibit.

His performance ended around 8:40, making the way for the star of the night: Mr. 50 cent himself who showed up on the stage around 9:00 pm coming out of a glowing cube. Yes, you read that right. A glowing cube.

His whole performance was an absolute banger! The music was on another level, with sick songs and killer lyrics that had the whole crowd hyped and wanting more.
The energy perceived was outstanding and he had everybody singing their songs and being a bit nostalgic remembering the good ol’ times of his beginnings.
It was an epic night filled with non-stop music and unforgettable vibes. 10/10, would definitely recommend going to 50 Cent’s concert.

The night ended with a shower of golden confetti, fog and fire which made the experience even more amazing visually. This production was unlike anything I’ve seen in a while. And did I mention that he had live musicians playing with him on top of LED screen towers? Yes, another amazing thing to add to the list.

Special thanks and shoutout to Live Nation, for inviting me to attend this unforgettable experience and with that, being able to share it with you.
